The newly-formed Coalition for Human Rights and Peace at the Church of Scientology of London

London, 10th December 2006:United Nations International Human Rights Day was today marked by theformation of the Coalition for Human Rights and Peace. The purpose ofthe Coalition is to coordinate and empower the activities oflike-minded groups to ensure that the Universal Declaration of HumanRights is actually made known and used at all levels of society, in thetrue spirit in which it was created by the United Nations in 1948following the atrocities of the Second World War. The Coalition wasformed at an event commemorating Human Rights Day, hosted by the Church of Scientology at the Church’s new London HQ on Queen Victoria Street in the City of London.
