Scientology Organizations Around the World

Inside and Outside the Churches of Scientology Around the World

David Miscavige Video: Behind the Scenes Look at Creation of Ideal Orgs

In March of 2009, Mr. David Miscavige gave an hour-long presentation on the behind-the-scenes look on what it takes to create new Ideal Churches of Scientology all around the globe – detailing the immense care and attention to detail that goes into each of these buildings.  Previously only available for viewing in-person at a Scientology organization, this video is now on-line to watch on the new Scientology website.

Anyone who knows Mr. Miscavige would know how much care, thought, study and sweat he and his staff have put into making sure Ideal Scientology Organizations are just that — Ideal.

To do that has required not only getting the basic model or blueprint right for an Ideal Church organization which itself can smoothly deliver all of the services that a Scientology organization should be able to deliver, but also to set up the means to be able to do that all over the world – and in parallel.  The amount of actual forethought, planning, and genius involved in such planning & execution is mind boggling – precisely the reason for this hour-long A/V presentation on what goes into making ideal Scientology organizations around the world.

So, when did the LRH cancel 339R as the measure of an orgs success and substitute “Ideal Orgs” (cool looking office space)? Have you seen recent SO Int and SCN Int GDS’s?

Thanks for your comment. (a) LRH ED 339R was never canceled, though LRH did also write an HCO PL by the name of THE IDEAL ORG in which he details the sorts of things one would expect in an ideal Scientology Church. And viewing that in alignment with 339R, you’ll see there’s no conflict there – in fact the two say essentially the same thing – that there are a host of actions that an Ideal Org should be doing, which are the collective product of many, working hand in hand to get it done. And of course, one can’t get all those functions done if the church’s space is like a large closet, so of course you have to have a building capable of accommodating those functions.

And (b) yes, I have seen the stats and they’re AWESOME. I’m in DC right now, and speaking of LRH ED 339R, the new Ideal Org here in Washington is winning the birthday game and expanding like crazy. It’s a blast to be here, actually. 🙂

Sorry – I wasn’t cool with your last comment. If you’ve got a disagreement with something that’s happening in a Scientology organization, or if you spot something in particular that’s off-policy, just write a report to RTC. This blog isn’t the forum to air disagreements between Scientologists which should be taken up directly with those people who can handle them.
