Inside and Outside the Churches of Scientology Around the World

Jaw-Dropping Video Tour of the Golden Era Productions Facility

image Golden Era Productions is the audiovisual production center of the Scientology Religion, and is the organization which is responsible for worldwide church dissemination materials, religious training films, and the fantastic public service announcements for the church’s many public betterment campaigns.

image Just released on the Scientology website is a video tour of the Golden Era Productions facility, an absolutely jaw-dropping campus that houses not only amazing technology and production capabilities (like one of the largest sound stages in North America), but also some of the most driven, purposeful, and masterfully professional artists on the planet – many of whom you get to meet throughout the course of the video.

And to me, that is what is the most impacting about the video itself.  The utterly professional nature of every component of that facility reflects the purposeful, enthusiastic professionalism of the Golden Era Productions staff.  Ask any Scientologist who has had the good fortune to be able to work with staff from Gold for any length of time, and it’s pretty clear why just about any Scientologist I know aspires to one day be able to work at Gold.

And as far as I’m concerned, it’s not just because they’d be able to work with the best equipment in the business, at a facility that has its own soccer fields, golf course, swimming pools, etc, in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable.  It’s because they’d also get to work with some of the most highly-trained, highly-respected names in their respective fields, who do nothing but produce materials that provide real help to others.   You see it in their eyes and can’t help but be in awe of it when watching them work, and this video gives you a taste of it.

I am a Scientologist and I’m currently listening to “Live Communication” (I finished the Basics almost 2 years ago). In the lecture “Axiom 51 in Action”, on Page 89 at the bottom of the first paragraph it says “From there on, it’s terror, horror”. I believe this is incorrect. I’m familiar with Ron’s humour and if you listen carefully, I think he’s saying “terra horror”. This is not terribly important, in terms of understanding but I thought you might like to know about it.
On a more important note, I’m really enjoying the ACC’s – 569 done, 450 to go. I’ve done all the Congresses, Basics books, lectures and extension courses and ACC lectures from my home – 120 miles from the nearest Org. It’s not hard to do; it’s just a matter of “finding your rhythm”, as I call it. Mine is starting between 5 and 6 every morning – before the workaday world begins. Now there is NO reason not to be studying LRH. Thank you for making it doable for so many more people.

you are about to narrate a documentary about ill-deeds of psychiatry. I read a bit of the Russian translation script and gotta to say that it’s been very badly translated as if translated by a foreigner.. no actual mistakes but it sounds awfully contrived. Just thought I’d let you know!

Good luck with the project! the topic you chose is fascinating
